We are looking for volunteers for the following  "work at home" positions. 

Candidates should be prepared to offer proof of their commitment to LifeCanada's pro-life values and will be required to submit a resume with references. An interview and training may also be required. All volunteers must sign the LifeCanada Volunteer and Confidentiality Agreements. 

Office Assistant Support:

Location: Work from Home. Volunteers from the Ottawa area are also needed to provide 'hands on' office admin support, as health protocols allow.

Date needed: Immediately

Commitment: 2-4 hrs/week for min 1 year

Resource Development Coordinator: This position will help to develop educational resources for our Member Groups and resources to compliment our national campaigns. 

Remuneration:  Opportunity for professional development with national organization; references.

Commitment: 2-4 hrs/week for min 1 year

Duties:

• Research life issues
• Write short pamphlets, rack cards and other material for distribution independently or for campaigns or websites
• Create memes for social media
• Assist in writing E-News, as required

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Understanding of life issues
• Solidly pro-life
  
• Must demonstrate organizational skills
  
• Excellent research and writing/editing skills
• Bilingual in French and English a valuable asset

Website and Social Media Content Coordinator: This position will help respond to groups' questions with the LifeCollective.io and post relevant information on our web-sites and social media. 

Remuneration:  Opportunity for professional development with national organization; references.

Hours of commitment:  2-4 hrs/week for min 1 year  

Duties:

• Respond to technical questions from member groups about uploading content to their website
• One on one coaching with member groups on how to maximize their site
• Connect articles/events to social media
• Contact authors for submissions
• Post events/articles as per the direction of the ED

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Understanding of life issues.
• Solidly pro-life
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable and experienced with computers and social media
