LifeCanada participated in a poll that found that 65% of people in New Brunswick oppose the tax funding of abortion on demand.

• 47% said funding should only go towards abortion as a medical emergency.*
• 9% said funding should be the responsibility of the individual.
• 9% believe that abortions should never be allowed.

Only three in ten (31%) believe that tax funding should go to pay for abortion on demand.

*Note: Abortion, with intent to kill the unborn child, is never a medically necessary procedure. Medical intervention may be necessary in some pregnancies, but it is never necessary to deliberately take the life of the child.
