Adoption in Canada is a project of LifeCanada  to raise awareness about adoption as an option for women facing unplanned or ‘unexpected’ pregnancies.

We offer information and resources about adoption and support for those considering adoption.

We are not a licensed adoption agency and we can not legally facilitate adoptions, nor do we profit from them.

We recognize and respect that choosing adoption is a difficult decision that needs to be made with careful consideration and that no one should be pressured into choosing adoption for their child. We strongly advocate for improved resources for those wishing to parent.

For those who have chosen adoption, we offer compassion and support and an opportunity to connect with individuals who have faced a similar situation through our Birth Parent Support Network.
