"Adoption is expensive," well-meaning people tell me all the time. I've heard it so many times it makes me want to scream. Adoption is not expensive and in Canada there are 30 000 children waiting for their forever home. Sadly, many of these children will age out in the system without ever finding a permanent home and loving parents. The stats on such children are grim. The irony is that there are 100s even 1000s of couples and individuals in Canada waiting to adopt. How can this be? How can there be so many children waiting for their forever home while homes are waiting for their forever children? In the above video, Krish Kandia answers that question and challenges those who call themselves "Christians" to consider their own spiritual adoptions and how God may be calling them to open their homes to a child in care. What could be more "pro-life" than that?
