Langley Dessert Concert
Hope for Women in Langley is thrilled to invite you to join us on Friday, March 8, 2019, for mouth-watering desserts, inspiring stories, and incredible music from local talent The Arctic and friends.
This year, we have changed the format of the event. The first part of the evening will feature delicious desserts and space for conversations with your friends around the table as you enjoy ambient background music. Then sit back, relax, and be inspired by amazing, heart-warming stories from Hope for Women's front lines. We'll end the evening with a concert featuring The Arctic.
GMA™ nominated The Arctic is a worship project that pursues God through song, music, and soundscape. Consisting of Alaskan born - Canadian raised songwriter & musician Luke Vandevert, The Arctic focuses on building relationships with churches and the arts. Drawing influences from ambient soundscapes of reverberating guitars, folk-rock roots, and rhythms, motivated by a passionate drive for the eclectic, but relying on the beauty of simplicity. The Arctic has teamed up with many talented musicians and songwriters over the past years, including artists like Brian Doerksen, Ryan McAllister, Marika, Coalmont, Carly Reirson, Achor, Daniel Kikkert, Alex Toney, and many more. The Arctic has prepared a collaborative concert featuring other artists (we can't tell you who just yet, but you won't want to miss it!) and we can't wait for you to hear it!
Doors open at 6:30 pm.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $18 at the door.
Buy a table of 8 seats for $100 and bring your friends!
An opportunity to further support the work of Hope for Women will be an important part of the evening.
